Lisa A. Davis, RN, MA, PCC (no relation to Brian Davis)

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University, Master of Arts degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.

As a Registered Nurse and Professional Clinical Counselor, I am deeply interested in helping people find healing for the broken parts of their lives. I have been married 21 years and I have two children ages 18 and 12, and two stepchildren ages 27 and 24.

Sometimes the hurt from a difficult marriage becomes unmanageable and it's time to seek professional counseling. I help couples and families sort out troubling and complicated issues and discover lasting, practical solutions for harmony in their relationships.

As a step-parent in a blended family, I also have a personal passion and commitment to help blended families achieve wholeness and manage the unique struggles they often face when parents, children, and step-parents come together as a new family unit. I offer individual and group counseling for parents adjusting to life with their children after divorce.

Parenting teenagers can be frustrating and leave you feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. I particularly enjoy helping teens and their parents work through the conflicts and challenges that can often arise during these years.

I also specialize in helping police, fire, and EMT personnel cope with job related stress. As the wife of a police officer, I understand the challenges and stresses you face everyday. My goal is to help you get through and beyond your issues and back to a healthy, fulfilling life.

Please call me when you need a speaker for your group, I offer a variety of topics for schools, churches, women's groups and retreats. 614.888.9200.

Emily Heselton, MA, PC

Education: Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.

My areas of specialty include working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers. Childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood have become increasingly confusing and difficult times, and that's even without any extra "curve balls" thrown into the mix - like depression, anxiety, family break-up, grief, school problems or abuse. I believe, as difficult as things might get, there is reason to be hopeful.

Parents and caregivers, I can offer you a fresh perspective, professionally informed decision making, and the trust you need to navigate through difficult times. I will work with you and your child to discover underlying causes of emotional and behavioral concerns and find practical, long-term solutions.

It may seem hard to believe, but even after divorce it is possible to find happiness for you and your children. Call me at 614.888.9200 for a free consultation and to learn more about our unique Surviving and Thriving Parent / Child Support Group which allows parents & children, grades 1-5, to attend together but meet in separate peer groups to learn valuable post-divorce coping strategies.

My educational background and years of experience with teens and kids in a variety of settings has given me a strong basis for working with families in need.

Specialties include:

  • ADD/ADHD
  • Interactive Metronome
    (Focus, Attention issues and more)
  • Behavioral / Emotional Problems
  • Identity Issues
  • Faith-based counseling
  • Sexual abuse
  • Play therapy
Don't see what you are looking for? Please feel free to call me with any questions about your unique situation. 614.888.9200

Diane Higginbotham, BS, CT dianebw.jpg

Education: Bachelor of Science in Organzational Management, Graduate student in Community Counseling at the University of Dayton

My goal, as a therapist, is to partner with you as you journey to discover your passion, your voice, your true calling. In the counseling process I will help you work through problems that hold you back in your relationships with family, friends, spouse or significant other. I am especially interested in helping women regain control of their lives. I understand what it means to "lose yourself" in caring for other people. Depression, low self-worth, and grief can overwhelm you. You need to know you are not alone in your struggle and your longing to find God's direction for your life.

Job dissatisfaction, the loss of a loved one, and the difficult pressures of daily life are real issues that can create significant emotional problems. Don't go another day suffering needlessly and alone with your struggles. Call for an appointment so we can begin to work towards recovering the real you and finding joy in your life.
