What if I can't draw
Great! In most instances it is better not to have an artistic
background. In art therapy the goal is to be honest and express yourself
through the art, not to make a "good" picture.
Art Therapy will help you....
- Express buried feelings
- Clarify issues and concerns
- Develop healthy coping skills
- Identify blocks to expression and personal growth
- Increase communication skills
- Increase self-esteem and confidence
- Assist in the development of motor skills/coordination
- Share in a safe environment
- Stimulate imagination and creativity
