Alcohol & Drug Assessments
Every year thousands of Central Ohioans have legal, workplace, or school violations as a result of alcohol or drug use. While a violation itself may or may not be indicative of a substance abuse problem, the court, employer or school often require a alcohol or drug assessment. We have drug and alcohol counselors who regularly provide either a high quality alcohol assessment or drug assessment (or both) in a sensitive, professional and timely manner. We realize the circumstances of a court orderd, employer required or license reinstatment evaluation can be stressful and upsetting. Our staff will provide you with prompt and respectful service to help you move beyond the immediate reporting concern and on to the the next steps to move forward.
Common Drug and Alcohol Assessment Situations:
- Positive drug screen or workplace violation
- Alcohol assessment after a DUI / OVI charge
- Evaluation for DMV / BMV license reinstatement
- DOT / SAP required / safety sensitive employees
- Family members expressing concern
- Court ordered alcohol assessment &/or drug assessment
- Self referral if concerned about your own use
After meeting with a drug and alcohol counselor, clients will promptly receive a report with a professional recommendation. Recommendations for treatment, when appropriate, will include referrals for the appropriate level of care.
