Anita Ritchey earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She has led numerous groups as well as counseled hundreds of individuals since 2012.
Her life experiences have created a desire in her to help others find healing through their pain and work on bettering themselves. She believes that growth can come from any situation when you make room for difficult emotions and discover resilience. Whether you need her to provide a listening ear or guidance for specific ways to heal or improve your life, she is here to help.
Anita uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Treatment to address diverse issues such as divorce/break-ups, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, self-esteem issues, boundary development, anxiety, depression and other problems that impact day to day living.
You will be treated with compassion and care while being gently challenged to explore deeper truths that allow you to grow. Her intention is to equip you with the tools you need to succeed in life.
