About Anna

Anna Arsham earned her Master’s of Social Work from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Social Worker. She specializes in working with young children and adolescents and has experience supporting children with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Depression, Trauma-Related Disorders, Emotional Regulation difficulties, and other behavioral and social challenges. Anna’s goal is to help children feel understood, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Anna is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has experience treating children who have survived traumatic events including loss of loved ones, abuse/neglect, witnessing violence, sexual abuse, and serious accidents or injuries. Her sessions may also include interventions rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered therapy. She is also receiving specialized training and supervision in Play Therapy through The Play Strong Institute. Her approach is grounded in the Neuro-relational framework that emphasizes child autonomy, attachment, trauma-informed care, and co-regulation.

Anna has a strong passion for working with Neurodivergent children and believes that ALL children need safe relationships, space to explore, and opportunities to express themselves. She incorporates play, creativity, movement, mindfulness, and evidence-informed approaches to meet children where they are developmentally. She also has experience providing therapy in schools and community settings, providing her insight into navigating school systems, IEP’s, 504’s and other inter-disciplinary teams. With a background in dance education, Anna brings creativity and movement into her work while creating a warm, supportive environment where children can grow at their own pace using their natural language of play.

Anna practices under the supervision of Kim Brown, LISW-S, RPT-S.

What Our Counseling & Coaching Clients Say...

Overall Rating 5, 10 reviews on Google

I’ve gone through several counselors and was about ready to give up when a friend referred me to one of the counselors here. My life has truly changed as a result of the help I received. Don’t give up…not all counseling is the same. I just wish I would have called them years ago. The investment I made in myself was well worth every penny.

I met with Brian off and on for about 8 years. Great experience and he helped me develop the mental, emotional and spiritual tools I needed to succeed in life. He also helped me see my relationship with others from a very different perspective. Great experience and he’s been a great counselor through the years.
