Cherish Tusing is a counselor in training and graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Church Leadership from Evangel University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
As a counselor in training, Cherish is dedicated to providing a safe space and delivering the highest quality of care to her clients. She combines strengths-based, person-centered approaches with cognitive-behavioral techniques. You can expect a warm, listening ear and a counselor who will equip you towards improving your health.
Cherish has 5+ years of leadership experience working with adolescents and young adults, and she looks forward to working with clients who are as young as 11 into adulthood. She focuses on anxiety, depression, life transitions, conflict/communication in relationships, trauma, and eating disorders.
While working toward her clinical license Cherish works under the supervision of Leslie Hansen (LPCC-S).
