More about Elizabeth – FNP-BC

Elizabeth is a board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC).  She started her professional nursing journey in the Heart Center and Transplant Unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and stayed there for many years even after she received her master’s degree and became a nurse practitioner.  Though she enjoys taking care of children, she is trained to care for anyone from the youngest in age to the youngest at heart. She has worked in a family practice setting as well as in a mental health hospital setting, offering behavioral health, substance abuse recovery, and medication management services.  She has enjoyed the variety of issues presented with clients of all ages.

Throughout her years of practice, Elizabeth always strives to utilize a holistic approach with her clients, meaning she plans strategic healthcare measures with goals that are mutually agreed upon.  This form of treatment continuously shows that those with mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual struggles are much more successful at maintaining wellness if they work in conjunction with the healthcare provider to reach mutually set outcomes.

Elizabeth has experience treating and medically managing depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorders, bipolar disorders, substance abuse, as well as many medical health issues including thyroid diseases, high blood pressure, obesity, sleeping issues, and diabetes control among many others.  For treatment of the above listed conditions, Elizabeth welcomes children and adults alike over the age of 5.

Elizabeth looks forward to working with you and all other members involved in your care to provide the most effective plan possible to ultimately achieve your highest level of health and wellness.
