Morgan Kumler is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory status. She graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The focus of Morgan’s work as a counselor is on eating disorders, trauma and anxiety disorders. She loves to work with people coming out of higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment, and people who have never received formal treatment for disordered eating habits.
Morgan views each client as a unique individual with a unique story and she provides evidence-based practices to help each client to achieve their goals. She knows counseling can be an uncomfortable process, so she aims to be as clear as possible about what each client can expect throughout the duration of treatment. This includes collaborative treatment planning and goal setting. That means, as her client, you will set goals for yourself and she will weigh in with her training and experience to clarify and help you reach your goals.
Morgan is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She also provides Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD.
