Tricia received her Master in Social Work from The Ohio State University with a specialization in Mental Health. She began her Clinical Social Work experience in Community Mental Health in central Ohio providing case management and outpatient counseling to individuals. She has also worked in inpatient psychiatric settings as well as emergency departments with psychiatric emergencies. These environments have expanded Tricia’s expertise in treating the issues that have resulted in severe mental health diagnoses such as dissociative identity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, she has in-depth experience in working with borderline personality disorder.
Tricia works with adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. She desires to come alongside anyone who struggles with finding meaning, purpose, and self-determination. She endorses therapy as a way to learn to love oneself, believing self-care empowers people to have healthier relationships. She believes the purpose of therapy is to help someone help themselves.
Tricia works remotely from her office in New Hampshire. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Gottman Couple’s Therapy techniques. Currently, she is working on her Certification in EMDR and offers these therapeutic approaches remotely using video.
