Twyla Stanifer

Twyla Stanifer is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPC, 2005), a certified Life Coach (ACC, 2016) and a Certified Coach and Trainer through Leadership MetaFormation (2019). She received her Master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and has been trained through The Institute of Sexual Wholeness in sex therapy.  Her client focus’ are individuals, couples and groups who need support and guidance in the areas of sexuality, loss and relationship challenges.

Twyla understands and has experienced that healing comes in layers. She understands that when hardship comes, it is an opportunity for the next layer of healing.  She has sat in both the client and clinician chair and has concluded, after 20+ years of experience, that healing can only happen for the willing.  A willing person is ready to explore the pain and trust others to walk alongside them, a challenging but critical requirement.

Twyla believes a balanced life is the foundation for a healthy life.  This includes emotional, physical, mental, relational and spiritual heath. She knows that with the right tools, a desire to grow and with skilled counseling and coaching, a person can experience this balanced life and be better equipped to manage the stresses of life.

Twyla is known for her ability to connect with all types of people, including those struggling with the areas of the heart that others might be quick to judge or dismiss.  She has experienced grace over and over in her own life and when given the opportunity is honored to pass it along.  Life is hard and it is challenging to seek and live out truth. Together is better!
