Women’s Anxiety Group
Led by Cherish Tusing, Keaundrea Scott, and Katy Jackson
A 7-week counseling group designed for processing and learning about anxiety. The group leaders will be utilizing mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and faith integration.

Education: Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Evangel University with a B.A. in Church Leadership in 2019. She received her license as a credentialed minister in 2019 as well.
Experience: She grew up in church and served in youth ministry for 5 years. She served as a residence director for SEU Ohio for 2 years before beginning grad school. She has been seeing clients since January ‘23 and works at Directions Counseling. Cherish also has extensive group experience.
Areas of Competence: anxiety, depression, church hurt, grief/loss, life transitions, trauma, relationships.
Personal: She is married to Chad Tusing and attends Adventure Church, where she interned in college. Her 18-month-old daughter, Ada, is a source of joy for the family. Enneagram 2.
Education: Bachelor’s in Communications at the University of West Florida
Experience: Keaundrea is a bridge builder for people of different cultures, helping people of color navigate the every day issues they face. She has worked in ministry for 6 years and a basketball coach for 3 years. She serves adults, as well as teenagers at WellSpring.
Areas of Competence: Couples, marriages, and individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, diversity issues, ministry burnout, and women’s issues.
Personal: She and her husband, John, have three young daughters. They attend Sanctuary Columbus Church where they serve and worship together as a family. Enneagram 4.
Education: Attended University of Toledo, BA in Psychology. Graduated in 2020.
Experience: Katy worked in a children’s inpatient psychiatric unit which sparked her interest and compassion for those suffering in silence. She has been seeing clients since Jan ‘23 at Beacon Counseling Center. She sees all ages from 5+.
Areas of Competence: anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues, adjustment, and behavioral issues.
Personal: Katy and her husband, Mark, met in high school and married in 2021. They currently attend Saint Patrick’s church. Enneagram 7.
